Jesus said, "Follow Me" (Matt. 4:19; 9:9). This is a call to be set apart, challenged, and taught so we see and adhere to the call and mission Christ gives us. The word "disciple" literally means someone who pledges to be a “learner.” Moreover, it is someone who follows another teaching, and adheres to it. It's a process that involves commitment, and time to undertake the learning, and, as a Christian, a yearning to imitate Jesus!

Different People have different needs. When a person comes to Christ there can be any number of issues that must to be understood from a biblical perspective. We offer electives that you can choose from.
Some classes do require a workbook for a nominal fee.

What are the goals of Discipleship?

We have 4 goals that for each and every member of Fellowship. These goals are accomplished over a period of time and serve to keep the church a healthy, functioning body. The 4 goals of discipleship are:

  • To ground the believer in true worship
  • To establish the believer in the Local Church
  • To equip the believer with God's Word
  • To connect the believer to the Mission of Christ

A recent survey of evangelical Christians revealed that only 18% of Christians have a daily quiet time. This means that 82% of the Christians in this country who claim to be committed to Christ are entering each day poorly prepared to help others and enjoy the fullness of life that God has for them.

Your participation in "Experiencing God" indicates you want to be part of the 18% who are really making a difference in the world and allowing God to fill them with Himself, daily!
